360 Fractal / Landscape art

January 19, 2016

Been getting further into creating VR worlds using GLSL shaders, fractal / ray marching, using Processing.  I took the rendered outputs and used 360 viewing software to find some interesting stand alone compositions.

Here’s how some of the initial 360 / 180 fov scenes look..

and here’s how they look when playing around with a 360 panoramic viewer..

    Hi Glenn,

Love the work! Really exciting to see VR being used in this method. Any chance you could tell me what libraries you are using for the Panoramic Lense in processing? I’ve been searching for a while to create my own application and have yet to come up with anything successful.

  2. I’m doing it from within a shader – using GLSL code.
